The journey of the couch!
So a few minutes ago, A friend of mine asked me to help him move a couch out to his truck. I quickly agreed, needing to get up from writing all these posts (This is my 5th or 6th one today I'm pretty sure, I lost count). So I went over to his dorm and we got the couch. After a few struggles getting it out the door, we decided to take the elevator down instead of the stairs (we live on the 3rd floor). It was tricky getting the couch to actually go into the elevator. We ended up having to twist it sideways and tilt it a little forward. But it eventually fit and we got it inside the elevator. Unfortunately for us, there were some other people on some other floors who decided that they needed to ride the elevator as well. So we ended up on the sixth floor with like 7 people in the elevator. There was also this one guy on the fifth floor who, when the doors opened, just laughed at us and said "Of course, Why wouldn't the elevator have 6 people in it and a couch!". Then he said he would take the next one. But anyways the journey continued and we eventually made it to the lobby. Then came the hard part of actually getting it out of the buildings. We eventually had to lift it up on its side, then rotate it sideways so that it was like an L. Then we wedged it out of the building. We then proceeded to take the couch to the guys truck. Mission accomplished!
